Sir,
I read with interest the letter from Jacob Williams in last week's Tenby Observer (February 25) in which he announced he was considering standing for the East Williamston electoral division at the county council election next year.
Can I say that if Jacob does stand he will have a contest on his hands as I too intend putting myself forward for re-election in an area I have been privileged to represent for the past 10 years.
Furthermore, my constituents have shown confidence in me by returning me to County Hall on two occasions since 2001.
I am sure they would not have done so had I not listened to them, worked hard for them and represented them to best of my ability.
Clr. Jim Codd,
Pembrokeshire
County Council.
