Sir,
Coming back from my walk round Castle Hill, I went along the North Walk and was just about to run down the slope onto the North Beach when I realised that it's May 3 and I'm not allowed on North Beach now until October or the dog warden will come from nowhere and fine me.
But wait! There are two dogs playing on the beach with a ball. What fun they are having. Why can they do that? Where is the dog warden to come and fine them? I don't suppose they'll get caught, but I bet I would - how unfair is that. When is the ban enforced.
