Further to your letter about a new play park (April 8 issue), why can’t we oldies have a ‘play’ area with gym-style facilites, as they do in Carmarthen Park?

All my family went on them last week, from Chloe, aged six, to granny-nanny, 84.

And a very old lady hobbled up and got her arms exercised by spinning two wheels. She said she often goes there, and the exercise machines are free to use, but you have to use your own energy to keep them moving.
