I would just like, through the medium of your pages, to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the sponsored horse ride for the Tenby and Saundersfoot Lions Club such an exciting event.
The people who helped make the ride such fun and safe, especially the marshals, were brilliant and I think everyone, riders and helpers, had a great day. I know I did.
Thank you everyone who sponsored me, most of Newell Hill showed great faith in my ability to finish the course and a special thank you to the landowners concerned for making the land available for the ride.
There's a sad lack of off road riding in this area, so any opportunity to stretch our horses' legs and make money for a good cause at the same time is most welcome. Hopefully I'll be up for a repeat performance next year. Hang on to your wallets Newell Hill!
