It was encouraging to read your headline in last week's edition, 'County Council elects second woman chairman'.
There is hope for us yet. In the meantime, the members of what used to be poor old Amroth Parish Council have to suffer the indignity of being under the direction of a politically correct block of wood, and we are given to understand that this is on the instruction of the Welsh Assembly.
Somebody told me that a good many of that outfit are under the direction of another outfit known as Common Purpose, but I must admit to being very old nowadays and rather out-of-touch.
