JOIN the RNLI Lifeboats 16th Annual Fishing Open at Amroth on Sunday, February 1, 2026. Win prizes while supporting a good cause!
Organised by Pembroke & District Angling Club and Osprey SAC, the event will see fishing from 10am until 2pm and raises funds for the RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea.
First prize of £200 is awarded for the heaviest bag of flatfish. The second prize pays £100 for the heaviest fish of any fish, while the third prize of £50 goes to the second heaviest bag of flatfish.
There will also be a free Junior (Under 16) competition with prizes of £30, £20 and £10 respectively.
Entry is £10 with an option for a team of two, £2 each, both anglers to weigh in.
Book-in between 8am and 9.30am at The Temple Bar Inn (By kind permission of Mr lan Wilkinson).
There will also be lots of great raffle prizes to be won.

Rules: No rod stand on beach, except stewards, until the angler has booked in. All fishing to be between the markers. Only one sizeable fish, other than flatfish, is to be presented at the scales. All fish to scales in suitable containers to keep unwanted fish alive. Scales close 2.30pm prompt. Bin or take home any litter appropriately - including any you might find.
Note: The committee reserves the right to refuse entry and in the case of any dispute its decision will be final.
