Remember Bob Hayler? He was the 76-year-old we featured recently who was running the London Marathon in aid of HOPE MS Therapy Centre, Neyland, and Shalom House, St. Davids.

Well, he completed the 26.2-mile marathon in five hours 38 minutes - two minutes faster than his first London marathon back in 1986.

Sunday was Bob’s 11th London marathon since he took up running at the age of 45.

“The atmosphere was fabulous,” said Bob who had support from eight family members who cheered him on ‘en route.’
