After our friendly last week against Trimsaran, which saw the Seasiders battle heroically to gain a well-earned draw after a Lloyd Thomas try, it was back to 'Pembrokeshire' business at Haverfordwest.
The Under 12s took to the full-sized pitch as if they had always played on such a stage. Captain Daniel Gosnold took a grip of the tight-head position and ensured his opposite number played second fiddle to him all game. In fact, the whole boilerhouse crew worked hard to tame a well-drilled Haverfordwest eight.
Lewis Davies and Jonathan Miller rucked as if their lives depended upon it, Nino Rogers and Andrew Cooke tackled like men possessed, while the back row of Lewis Hodgson, Daniel Thomas and Henry Lawrence ensured that turnover ball at most ruck and maul situations came the Tenby way.
Their hard work up front was enjoyed by all who watched, but it was the Tenby backs who stole the show. Quick-thinking from Ianto Griffiths and his outside-half Lloyd Thomas exploited their speed of foot and quick hands to release man-of-the-match, inside centre Tom Baker to strut his stuff, and man did he strut. Crash ball, quick hands, hard hit man tackles and speedy open field running - you name it and Tom did it.
Once halted, his team-mates, such as Lewis Canton, Joseph Richards and Michael Robins, took control and played havoc with the home defence.
The half-time score read five points to both teams after Daniel Thomas levelled the scores with a quick try from a Ianto Griffiths charge down.
Second-half points wise remained the same, but Tenby found even more in the back division to even excite the home supporters and that's no easy feat in Harfat.
Subs Josh Jones, Aron Brace and Adam Walker maintained the fast tempo, while Ross Gray, in his new fullback position, played like a veteran number XV giving the crowd plenty to cheer about.
Well done to both teams for an entertaining and relatively clean match. Tenby squad are now bonding and will prove yet again to be a force to be reckoned with locally and far afield - well done lads.
