The wedding took place at St. Davids Church, Prendergast, on Saturday, of Mr. David Brumfield and Miss Kate Pope.
The groom, a sergeant in the Royal Signals 16 Air Assault Brigade, is the youngest son of Peter and Judy Brumfield, of 97 Doncaster Road, Scunthorpe, while the bride, a primary school teacher, is the eldest daughter of Stan and Pat Pope, of 2 Tanbank, Haverfordwest.
Given away by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Kirsty.
Best man was the groom's brother, Graham, and the ushers were Craig Atterby and Steve Birchal.
The service was conducted by Canon Geoffrey David Gwyther.
A reception was held at St. Bride's Hotel, Saundersfoot, and the couple are spending their honeymoon in New York, Maui and San Francisco.
They will be making their home in Colchester, Essex.
