The wedding took place on Saturday at Jeffreyston Church of Mr. Andrew Sherlock and Miss Michaela Thomas.

The groom, a civil servant for the Welsh Assembly Government, is the son of Ron Sherlock and Carol Sherlock, of Cardiff, while the bride, an infants school teacher at Marlborough Infants in Cardiff, is the daughter of Kerry Thomas and Jill Thomas, of Inwood, Cold Inn, Kilgetty.

Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin gown with iridescent beading, and a crystal tiara.

Bridesmaid Marie Thomas (sister-in-law) wore a champagne satin gown with iridescent beading and stole, and carried a posy of spring flowers. Best man was Mark Sherlock (groom's brother), while the ushers were the bride's brothers. The ceremony was conducted by Father Paul Davies, while organist was Eileen Thomas.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Plas Hyfryd Country Hotel in Narberth. The couple, who are honeymooning in Venice, will make their home in Penylan, Cardiff.
