A holidaymaker was airlifted to hospital on Monday after collapsing on Tenby's South Beach. The 56-year-old woman from Manchester suffered a suspected heart problem at approximately 11.30 am. Ambulance paramedics and the Tenby coastguard team duly went to her aid. As a rescue helicopter from RAF Chivenor was flying overhead at the time on exercise, their help was also summoned, and the woman was duly airlifted to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, where she was kept in overnight for observation.
