Andrew Jones from Neyland, who raised £405 in sponsorship by taking part in Tenby's Boxing Day Swim, has been presented with the Tenby Sea Swimming Association Shield for collecting the most for the event's nominated charities.

He is pictured above (right) receiving his award from swim chairman Chris Osborne.

The 2011 swim, which attracted nearly 700 brave bathers, raised over £12,800 for various charities, including the event's headline good causes of Hafan Cymru, Cruse Bereavement Care, Pembrokeshire Cancer Support and Tinker's Hill Bird of Prey and Swan Rescue Centre.
