Jameston Annual Art and Craft Exhibition was opened at the Jameston Community Hall last Thursday evening by local well-known artist, Mr. Graham Hadlow, who commented on the high standard of the exhibits and how important a role the local groups play in promoting art.

A tribute was paid to the late Mrs. Joan Beddoes who initiated the exhibition several years ago for the legacy of her hard work for the community, and grateful thanks given to the team of helpers, without whom the exhibition would not have been possible.

Raffle prizes included a painting donated by Mrs. Ann Pullen, a photographic print donated by Mr. Ray Hines and a pack of mounts donated by Kadinski Framing.

The exhibition continues to today (Friday).
