Carriageway resurfacing work currently underway and the creation of a new mini-roundabout junction will see a stretch of Tenby’s Heywood Lane closed over the Easter holidays.
The road closure on the Heywood Lane/Serpentine Road junction will be in place until April 15, so that a programme of access improvement works for Greenhill School can continue.
The works by Pembrokeshire County Council in that area have included the final excavation/removal of the existing access road; continued playing field construction works; as well as construction works to tie the new access road into the existing road adjacent to the school.
A footway link from the playing field to the school’s main access is also being worked on.
Correspondence from the authority’s Anthony Price which came before members of Tenby Town Council recently, stated that the improvement works were ‘advancing well’.
