THE Pembrokeshire branch of the Dyfed Family History Society will be holding a 'members' interests' meeting at Prendergast church hall, Haverfordwest, on Monday, February 11, at 7.30 pm. Experienced genealogists, along with local archivist Nikki Bosworth, will be on hand to answer queries about family history. This will be an open meeting for anyone who is interested in joining the society. Those members who already belong to the society but do not usually attend the monthly branch meetings are also welcome to attend - as well as our regular attendees. You do not have to have Pembrokeshire ancestors to benefit from this meeting. Advice will range from 'how to start your family history' to trying to solve problems for those who are 'stuck' somewhere on a branch of their family tree. Indexes and other finding aids will be available. Tea and coffee will be on sale during the evening. This event will be followed by a visit to the Pembrokeshire Record Office on March 10 to give members the opportunity to put the theory into practice.
