In the Sunday Welsh League, St. Florence played Ammanford. The two rinks bowling at home did very well, both winning, to gain an overall home advantage of seven shots.

S. Dick, I. Evans, H. Evans, M. Evans v M. Rees - won 20-15.
The two rinks playing away did not fare so well, both going down and losing overall by eight shots.
B. Deeley, J. Hammond, J. Moffat, J. Evans v V. Harris - lost 16-23.
A. Jarvis, P. Satts, T. Shaw, D. K. Thomas v S. Davies - lost 15-16.
St. Florence came so close to winning their first Sunday League match, only going down by one shot. Hard luck, but well played, improvement all the time. 'Thank you' to all players, from the selectors, for a very good effort.
