South East Pembrokeshire Community Health Network (SEPCHN) will be holding its next public meeting at 6 pm on Thursday, October 13 in New Hedges Village Hall.
The main item on the agenda will be GP services in Tenby and Saundersfoot.
The County Director of Hywel Dda Univesity Health Board and the Practice Managers from both GP surgeries will be in attendance - so this is a special opportunity for the community to learn more about how local health services operate, their challenges and their achievements.
There will also be opportunities for practitioners, policy makers and managers to hear what you think.
These public meetings have always been constructive, positive and non-political since Mansel Thomas and Caroline Thomas founded the SEPCHN group to campaign for a new Cottage Hospital for the area many years ago.
More recently, SEPCHN was instrumental in getting the Minor Injuries Unit reinstated at the Cottage Hospital in Tenby.
At the last meeting, Mansel and Caroline handed over the stewardship of SEPCHN to Duncan Whitehurst and Laurence Blackhall from Tenby Town Council to ensure the survival of future meetings.
All are welcome go along to the meeting to find out more about healthcare in the area and to help shape the future of the NHS.
