Two members of Pembrokeshire YFC headed off to Norway this week to represent Wales at the European Committee For Young Farmers' and 4H Clubs annual European Rally.
Dylan Sandbrook, of Eglwyswrw YFC, and Georgina Cornock, of Fishguard YFC, were chosen to be in the team of five representing Wales at the rally. For a week, they will be based in Flekke, near Bergen, and will be joined by other YFC teams from over 20 countries.
Activities throughout the week include taking part in all kinds of workshops and seminars, as well as excursions to local industrial areas, farms and other development projects in the region.
The team will be led by Rhiannon Dafydd, Maesywaen YFC, Meirionnydd, and joining Dylan and Georgina as members of Team Wales will be Menna Davies, Dihewyd YFC, Ceredigion, and Owen Jones, Llanddewi-Brefi YFC, Ceredigion.
Also joining the Welsh team on their adventure will be Llysyfran YFC's club leader, Delme Harries from Puncheston. Delme has for the past three years represented the Young Farmers of Wales, England, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Malta on the board of the European Committee of Young Farmers and 4H Clubs.
