The Saundersfoot, Tenby and District Committee of Macmillan Cancer Relief held a sale of Welsh cakes, plants, books and bric a brac at Saundersfoot Harbour on Tuesday, July 25.
The sale lasted from 9.30 am until 4 pm, with several committee members working all day.
In the afternoon, the total was boosted by £35 from local musicians, Keith and Tom Sandal, busking. Not only did they attract customers to the stall, but they entertained the workers and greatly added to the atmosphere. The committee thank them for their valuable contribution to the day.
The money will go to Macmillan's South West Wales appeal which will fund additional cancer services in this area. The charity has recently changed its name from 'Cancer Relief' to 'Cancer Support', reflecting how it adapts and changes to reach and to offer support to everyone affected by cancer.
