'EBB and Flow - The History of Tenby Harbour' opens to the public at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery, on Monday. The exhibition traces the harbour story from its earliest origins up to the present day and features a wide array of old photographs, as well as artefacts connected with harbour life, including shipwright's tools and fishing equipment. Assistant curator Mark Lewis commented: "The harbour is often regarded as the centre of Tenby life. It has a long and interesting history, not just through the fishing and trade, but also through a wide range of events and people. "This exhibition hopefully gives a sense of the harbour's changing fortunes, and is as much a social perspective as an historical one. It is a story worthy of the telling. "I would also like to extend my thanks to Doug Perry and Marion Davies for all their invaluable support and assistance in the preparation of this exhibition."
