Tenby adventurer Rosie Swale Pope celebrated her 60th birthday this week while continuing on her 20,000-mile trek around the world on foot.

Now entitled to her bus pass back at home, Rosie's birthday on Monday also marked the third anniversary of the beginning of this great voyage. Since she started from her home, Rosie has covered countries and continents, negotiating rivers and bears. She has met an extraordinary range of people so many of whom have supported her generously both materially and with the warmth of their kindness.

Of all of Rosie's adventures, this is the longest and hardest, but she remains in good spirits as she passes through Fort St. John and Dawson's Creek in British Columbia.
