It's that time of year when our thoughts turn to swirling, coloured autumn leaves, cosy evenings at home and the warm glow of the fire. However, it is also the time of the year when brave young women walked down to the crossroads at the edge of town to catch a glimpse of their future husband. When mutton bones were scratched and stabbed to induce dreams of lovers that might appear and when apple pips were thrown onto embers, popping and exploding to decide whether a marriage would take place.

Namely, Samhain or Hallowe'en, the Celtic New Year, when our forebears believed that the spirit world came so close to our own that matters of love and death could most easily be determined and our loved ones could be rescued from the fairy worlds they'd disappeared to.

Brave the seasonal weather with a guided Ghost Walk of Tenby and discover some of the strange and spooky, magical and murderous aspects of Tenby's colourful past and follow that with a delicious culinary feast at The Mews Bistro.

For the fifth year running, The Mews Bistro and The Ghost Walk of Tenby have teamed up to provide an early ghost walk at 6 pm followed by a special gastronomic three-course meal.
