Spooks, ghouls, ghosts and cute animals are just the start at Folly Farm's Hallowe'en themed Shriek Week. This annual celebration of all things chilling runs from October 20-31. Can so much frightening fun be had in one place? The answer is a fiendish yes. Get a ghoulish face painted, hunt for ghostly treasure, enter colouring competitions in the pet centre, follow the Hallowe'en picture trail and experience supervised pet handling with the experienced park staff. There are also bags of opportunities to win scary prizes each day. The largest indoor play centre in Wales has been transformed into the eerie Spooky Woods, where children of all ages can enjoy hours of undercover fun, while adults can enjoy a coffee with their hand-made cake. There will also be spectacular entertainment in the theatre, with magic and horrifying mayhem from Chunkie the Clown's breathtaking Hallowe'en themed show, while Jugglestruck will be demonstrating their juggling and puppetry talents. Chunkie the Clown will also be patrolling the park every day in his clown car, causing horrifying happiness to everyone he meets. Whatever the half-term weather, Folly Farm has it covered, from the largest antique funfair in Europe, farmyard fun in the Jolly Barn, to the zoo with its fantastic animals, including many rare and endangered species.
