Meet Jill Warren - she’s had a hair-raising start to 2016! For the 60-year-old has had her long blonde locks cut off all in aid of charity. Living on her own and suffering with health problems, Jill decided that it was time to make her hair easier to manage. She has not had her hair cut since she was eight or nine-years-old, and with over five decades of growth, her hair was a staggering three-foot long! Keen for her hair to go to a good cause, Jill has donated it to leading cancer charity for children and young people, CLIC Sargent, for them to make wigs. She has also been collecting donations and sponsorship for the charity - amassing well over her target of £200, with £665 being collected up until last Friday when Jill underwent the chop at Styles Studio, 89 Queen Street, Pembroke Dock. Donations can still be made at the studio where Jill and hairdresser Della Griffiths are pictured before Della got to work with her scissors.
