It was a case of 'hail and farewell' at Wednesday's meeting of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.
Members extended thanks and good wishes to Mr. Huw Davies, a Welsh Assembly appointee, who was attending his last meeting, and welcomed Clr. Alwyn Luke, who has been nominated by Pembrokeshire County Council.
Mr. Davies has recently moved to a new environmental post in Yorkshire and did not put his name forward for re-appointment. He paid tribute to his colleagues and staff on the Park Authority. His three years as a member had been "very enjoyable with a very friendly and happy authority."
Clr. Luke, from Fishguard, returns to the Park Authority in place of Clr. Desmond Codd, who has stood down for health reasons. Clr. Luke previously served on the National Park Authority when a member of the former Dyfed County Council.
A new Welsh Assembly appointed member, Mr Timothy Giles, joins the authority on April 1.
