A very successful coffee morning in aid of the Tenby and Pembrokeshire Fundraising Branch of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association was held at Church House, Tenby, last Saturday.

The event was very well attended, and just over £260 was raised.

Three guide dogs were also in attendance, Angie, who belongs to branch secretary Eva Rich, Claire with her owner Veronica Prescott Owen, and Candy, who has recently qualified with her owner John Dabbs, John's first guide dog, Ida, having recently retired.

The branch chairperson, Anne Lillycrop, together with all members wish to especially thank Maureen Webb for all her help, John Butland for supplying the milk, those who kindly provided raffle prizes and biscuits, and everyone who supported the event, helping to raise much-needed funds towards the training of guide dogs for visually impaired people.

The raffle prize winners were: Beryl Fennymore, Sandra Parker, Gwen Day, Gwen Upham, Claire Rice, Marina Jones, Pauline Allen, Mrs. Bevan.
