There has been a lot of publicity recently, in both the local and national press, about allotment gardening.

There is increasing demand around Pembrokeshire from people who would like to be able to grow their own vegetables and fruit and thus support themselves and their families more efficiently and healthily, whilst reducing food miles and packaging waste.

The National Trust has recently released limited plots in our area for allotment gardening and Pembrokeshire County Council has waiting lists for those few allotment gardens which they have provided.

A small group of people feel it would be beneficial to their communities to develop such a resource in the Saundersfoot/Tenby area.
