Greenhill School was given the go-ahead to build a new classroom block this week, as development management committee members of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority approved an application from Pembrokeshire County Council for the development.
The plans to erect a new two-storey technology block that will house graphics, cookery and ICT departments was approved, despite objections from a number of nearby residents located at Queensfield, who are concerned that the proximity, scale and massing of the building, will result in a loss of privacy for them.
However, NP committee members voted in favour of the application, with Clr. John Allen-Mirehouse saying that it was a "much needed" facility for the school and its pupils.
