CONGRATULATIONS to George and Joyce Rees, of Tenby, who celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary tomorrow (Saturday).
George, a native of Tenby having been born at Pier Hill at the town's harbour, met Joyce, who hails from Newport, at the Hope and Anchor pub.
While Joyce worked at a hotel on The Esplanade, George worked as a plumber, before going on to work with the Electricity Board for 34 years.
They have lived at Maesglas, Tudor Way, for the past 20 years.
The couple have a daughter, Carol, who lives in Upper Hill Park, and a son, Paul, who now lives in Andover. They have four grandchildren.
