Congratulations to Margaret and Arthur Mellin, of Bryn Cottage, Pentlepoir who are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary today (Friday).
The couple met at a youth club when they were in their early teens and married when they were 20-years-old in the Mission, Neath in 1953, the year of the Queen's Coronation.
Arthur's work with British Rail took him up the line, eventually settling in Reading, Berkshire for 30-years.
In 2000, they moved back home to Wales and are happy to be closer to all their family.
They have now made a great number of new friends in the Tenby Male Voice Choir in which Arthur now sings and through Margaret's craft group and WI.
They will be celebrating tomorrow (Saturday) with family and friends who all hope that their special day will be filled with happy memories.
