This was Tenby Under 8s fourth game this year and probably their best performance. Cairan Broomhead opened the scoring with a good shot from Alex Heesom's cross, with Heesom claiming the second from a goal mouth scramble. Curtis Hurlow got number three after his over head kick bounced over the advancing Hakin 'keeper.
A good move started by Jake Roberts on his own goal line, was passed on to Daniel Edwards who linked well with Philip Horsley. He continued the move with an excellent pass to Heesom and his cross found Ashley Smith whose shot just went wide of the post.
Smith, however, collected the goal kick and cleverly dribbled his way past several defenders before laying the ball off to Broomhead, who unleashed an unstoppable shot.
Tenby goalie Robert Fairlie made a couple of important saves and was well looked after by his defence of Roberts and Greg Lees-Griffiths.
In the closing minutes of the half Smith got the goal he deserved and promptly did his now customary celebratory somersault.
Tenby introduced Leo Moreland and Oliver Worley and both went close to scoring with good shots, while Philip Horsley and Greg Lees-Griffiths controlled the midfield and defence respectively.
Alex Heesom added two more to complete his hat trick, the last being the best when, from inside his own half, he out stripped the Hakin defence to score with a low shot.
Not to be out done Curtis Hurlow also got a hat trick, his last goal being an excellent shot from an acute angle.
The last and 10th goal was scored by the hard working Daniel Edwards who beat two Hakin players before shooting into the roof of the goal.
