Saundersfoot Footlights have always prided themselves on being a hard-working and friendly group who present two shows every year, a summer musical and a Christmas pantomime.
They are now looking forward to their next production very much buoyed by the overwhelmingly positive feedback from their last production ‘Lifetime’, with fantastic reviews such as “The show was amazing again last night like every other that you do!” and “As they say in the biz - daalings it was a triumph!”
They are now seeking budding actors and actresses to make up the cast of their forthcoming Christmas pantomime, which will be ‘Peter Pan’. Packed full of intriguing characters, this classic children’s tale by J. M. Barrie was adapted for pantomime by John Morley and will feature a contemporary musical score put together by Footlights musical director, Clive Raymond.
With Clive’s reputation for stunning musical scores, we hear it will feature modern classics, including some very popular Motown numbers.
If you see yourself as that budding actor or actress and have ambitions of becoming a star, Saundersfoot Footlights would love you to come to one of their auditions. Remember this is an amateur musical theatre society, so don’t be afraid and take up this opportunity to take to the stage and see what you can do. Give it a go and you might find talents you never knew you had and find a wonderful new interest in the process!
If you are interested and as long as you are over the age of 10 years you can request more information and an audition pack by email to [email protected].
Auditions are on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 30 and 31, at 7 pm, at the Regency Hall in Saundersfoot.
