Mr. A. S. Evans Miss G. S. McNeilly

Glorious sunshine blessed the wedding on June 21, at Broadway Country House, Laugharne, of Mr. Ashley Stuart Evans and Miss Gemma Susan McNeilly. The groom is the son of Stuart and Janice Evans, of Saundersfoot, while the bride, a primary school teacher, is the daughter of Gary and Susan McNeilly, of Pentlepoir. Given away by her father, the bride wore an Augusta Jones ivory lace full-length gown with train. Maid of honour was Melissa Brits (bride's sister), who wore a champagne chiffon full-length dress with gem-embellished waistband. Both the bride and maid of honour carried hand-tied bouquets of pink and cream avalanche roses. Best man was Chris Butler (best friend), while ushers were Lourens Brits, Mathew Davies and Jon Hope. The ceremony, held on the lawn at Broadway Country House, was conducted by Rebecca Davies, with vocalist Rhiannon Davies. A reception followed in the Guy de Brion Suite, with an evening reception in a marquee. The couple will continue to live in Saundersfoot.
