A giant sleepover for children of primary school age will take place in Whitland on Monday, June 4. Whitland children, with their parents, are invited to join in the celebrations for the Queen's diamond jubilee with a sleepover at Parc Dr. Owen (Memorial Hall if wet) during the extended holiday weekend. It promises to be an excellent start for the half-term holiday week. 

Bring a tent, sleeping bag and favourite food to the Parc on Monday, June 4, at 8 pm. Hot soup and bread rolls will be provided for a late night warming snack.

There will also be some children's entertainment to while away those long hours until sleeping time, as well as a competition to make a 'Crown fit for a Queen'.
