Pupils at Pembrokeshire Leisure School of Dance held their own 'Monsters Ball' to celebrate Hallowe'en.
They sashayed their way through five sections of dance - freestyle, classical, modern sequence, ballroom and Latin - into first, second and third positions at a dance and fancy dress fun day at Milford Leisure Centre at the weekend.
Trophies were awarded to the top up-and-coming new dancers in each section. They were: Nia Tyrrell (freestyle); Courtney Perry (classical); Lilly Adams (modern sequence); Lisa Evans (ballroom); Dylan Allen (Latin).
The overall trophy for all five sections went to Lilly Adams.
The Hallowe'en fancy dress results were as follows: eight years and under: 1. Jemima Richards; 2. Ewan Henderson; 3. Rebecca Dobbs. Nine-10 years: 1. Saskia Jones; 2. Lilly Adams; 3. Jordan Harding. Eleven-13 years: 1. Amy McGregor; 2. Sarah Davies; 3. Ellie Jenkins. Sixteen years and over: 1. Nelum Withanage
The adjudicators for the dance sections were Ray Wheeler and Suzanne Blake from Somerset.
Pembrokeshire County Council's well established dance school with experienced teachers operates at various leisure centres.
With dance very much back in fashion thanks to shows like Strictly Come Dancing, it's useful to know that classes for the very young to senior citizens in all sections of dance can be found in Milford Haven Leisure Centre (Mondays and Wednesdays), Haverfordwest Leisure Centre (Tuesdays), Fishguard Leisure Centre(Thursdays) and Tenby Leisure Centre (Fridays).
