A market stall with a difference opened for business at Haverfordwest last week.
The Learning Market on Riverside Quay showcased the wide range of learning opportunities for adults in Pembrokeshire.
Officially opened by Clr. Huw George, cabinet member for children, young people and learning, the launch marked the start of the Pembrokeshire Learning Festival.
Over 700 people across the county took part in a wide range of learning activities as part of Adult Learners Week - May 9 to 16.
They included a host of free taster sessions organised by Learning Pembrokeshire - Pembrokeshire County Council's adult learning team - highlighting the huge number of courses on offer every year from creative writing to plumbing to IT.
"Whether people want to develop new skills or interests, or work towards a qualification to enhance their career prospects, there will be a course for them in the county," said Clr. George.
Clr. George was joined at the opening by Pembrokeshire's Learner of the Year, Pauline Jones from Haverfordwest.
Pauline took part in the Supported Training and Education in Pembrokeshire (STEP) project, while fellow Pembrokeshire STEP learner Gwen Halliday was recently presented with a Highly Commended Award at the Inspire Adult Learner Award ceremony in Bangor.
Adult Learners Week is an annual event supported by the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE) Dysgu Cymru.
