Now that the new year has begun, why not get yourselves out of the house and get active.
At Heatherton World of Activities they are trying to assist in this with the continuation of their free golf tuition and brand new bowling lessons for adults in 2011.
Wednesdays are dedicated to the free golf lessons, starting at 7.30 pm on the driving range, where resident pro Terry Mountford will tutor you in the necessary skills or help in improving your technique and fine tuning your golf. There is no need to book, just turn up with or without clubs to receive this free tuition.
If golf isn't for you, why not try the bowling lessons which will take place on Thursday evenings at the indoor bowls centre, from 6 - 7.30 pm, where you will be taught by qualified coaches with a wealth of experience in the sport.
And who knows, with regular attendance and practice, you could become part of the Heatherton Indoor Bowling Club team and participate in regional and national leagues and competitions.
