When Cardiff centre Shaun James heard that his former Begelly neighbour Derek 'Ecker' James was in hospital after suffering a slight heart attack, he donated a signed copy of his Cardiff shirt. In addition, he arranged for all of the Cardiff team to sign a copy of the match programme, which was also given to Mr. James.

When the items were handed to Mr. James by a close friend, Colin Davies, and his wife Pauline, Mr. James was delighted to receive the gifts. The generous action by Shaun James was very much appreciated.
