Pembrokeshire Horticultural Society restarted their weekly Wednesday workshop earlier this week with Flowers and Flowers. Which plants will grow where? Inland or seaside?
Future events for the group include a day out at Powis Castle, and a continuous involvement with the spade to fork which is running at Scolton in conjunction with local schools. This is intended to raise the interest of youngsters in growing and, eventually, cooking and eating the results of their efforts.
The monthly meeting is on Monday, June 9, at 7.30 pm, and the subject is 'Hardy Herbacious Perennials'. The speaker is Jennifer Matthews.
