The first meeting of Gardeners Club... for enthusiasts to start the new season of interesting topics will take place on Tuesday, March 20.
The club is delighted to announce that the speaker will be Ivor Stokes who has entitled his talk 'Making the most of rhododendrons'. He is making a welcome return - as you all know Ivor was director of horticulture at the National Botanic Garden of Wales for over five years and has now become a horticulture consultant.

He is extremely knowledgeable on historical elements of parks and a judge of rhododendrons at RHS shows. Ivor will be pleased to answer any questions following his talk.
As usual, the venue is Rudbaxton Community Hall, Crundale, starting at 2 pm. There is a large car park plus facilities for disabled people. Light refreshments will be served and of course guests will be very welcome.
There will also be a plant sale and raffle. For reference the club lends videos, magazines and books to members.
