A feast of music is promised when a Gala Concert is held at Carew Cheriton Church next Friday, at 7.30 pm.
The concert features world renowned tenor Mr. John Mitchinson, who will be accompanied by Mrs. Sharon Lusher and the Mezin String Quartet, featuring Rebecca Whitehurst and Joanne Underwood on violins, James Walker on viola and Kyle Patterson on cello.
The programme will include music by Beethoven, Vaughan Williams, Shostakovich and songs for tenor and piano by John Ireland, Roger Quilter and Warlock.
Tickets for the concert are available on the door and priced at £6, with tickets for senior citizens and young folk priced at £4.
All proceeds are in aid of Carew Cheriton Church and Carew Wesley Methodist Chapel Disabled Access Fund.
