Tenby's Cancer Research UK shop manager, Chris Hearn, would like to thank everyone who supported their Round Wales on an Exercise Bike challenge throughout October for Stand Up To Cancer.

Over the four weeks, the shop's staff, volunteers and supporters clocked up 695 miles and raised £1,392.

When added to the shop's other fundraising activities, £3,044 has been passed on to the Stand Up To Cancer campaign.

Chris said: "The support we have been shown throughout the challenge has been incredible and we just can't thank people enough.

"I would like to thank David Pugh, Nicola Jones, Tiffany Haynes, and Swanny McCarthy in particular for their individual efforts towards our challenge."

The Stand Up To Cancer campaign funds translational research which gets the breakthroughs in the labs to the cancer patients they can benefit within three years.

This year's campaign has so far raised £15.6 million.
