The Rotary Club greatly appreciate the Rugby Club once again making the highly suitable venue available. The club is also delighted that the Valero Pembroke Refinery has also once again kindly agreed to be the sponsor of the night.
It is currently planned to open the gates at 6 pm, light the bonfire at around 6.45-7 pm, whilst the spectacular firework display is planned for 8.30 pm. The club has again frozen admission prices at £4 for adults, £2 for children and £10 for a family, (2+2).
There will also be musical entertainment, a barbecue, hot and cold drinks, freshly cooked Welsh cakes, side stalls and children's fairground rides, providing fun for all the family.
The Rotary Club are also pleased to say that, following the success of last year's initiative, they would again like to invite local charities, clubs or organisations to set up a fundraising stall on the evening.
Rotary Club president Brian Charles said: "Several charities and good causes were successful in raising much needed funds for their good causes at both last year's firework and bonfire night, and we would be delighted if others wanted to come along and take advantage of the opportunity. This would be beneficial to the event in adding to the spectacle and activity on the evening, and would also help raise much needed funds for those involved, as all participants would keep the funds that they raise for their good cause." (Due to licensing requirements, any fundraising by third parties would not be allowed to include any catering or beverage).
