Is your voluntary or community group looking for funding? Then go along to PAVS' Funding the Future event at the Queen's Hall, Narberth, on Tuesday, November 18, and take advantage of a unique opportunity to speak to local and national funders.
Join for workshops from 9.45 am, offered in partnership with the WCVA, on various funding topics, including Get Fit for Trading, Loan Finance and Asset Based Development and Sustainable Funding and an up-date on European Funding programmes. Places are limited for the morning workshops, so please book.
From 12 noon - 5 pm there will be a drop-in funders exhibition, including the Big Lottery Fund, Environment Wales, the Welsh Assembly Government's Community Facilities and Activities Programme, the Arts Council of Wales, the Sports Council for Wales and more.
BBC's Children in Need has just announced changes to its scheme and will be available to talk with groups - if you work with disadvantaged children or young people aged 18 years and under, then a place can be reserved for you.
The Big Lottery Fund will give a talk at 2.15 pm about their funding priorities and practical tips for applicants. This will be their first event in Wales following the official launch of a three-month Big Thinking consultation on Big Lottery Fund distribution from 2009 - 2015. Following this, the Welsh Assembly Government will explain the priorities of its Community Facilities and Activities Programme - a popular scheme which has funded capital projects in community venues across Wales.
A buffet lunch will be served at 1 pm. Book your free place by calling (01437) 769 422 or email [email protected]">[email protected]
