A fund-raising evening for the charity LATCH, which supports children with cancer and leukaemia in Wales, is to take place at the Snooty Fox, Martletwy, on Saturday, June 27.

The evening has been organised by the family of young Shelley Harries, of Narberth, to show their support for the charity and to say thanks for all that has been done for Shelley, who is well known in the community, and was once named the youngest town crier in Wales when she took over the role from her mother in Narberth when she was just 12-years-old.

On the night, there will be live entertainment from Sherri and Steel, along with a buffet, grand raffle and charity auction featuring a multitude of prizes, including - a one-week stay in a luxury Lanzarote villa, for up to eight people, kindly donated by Peter Griffiths; a family portrait of your own, kindly donated by Creative Looks in Pembroke; a rugby shirt signed by the current Scarlets squad; and many more prizes.

All proceeds raised from the night, which starts at 7.30 pm, will go to LATCH, with tickets priced at £7.50 available from the Snooty Fox on 01834 891300, Lynette Evans on 07971 840238 or Gerald D. Harries and Sons Ltd. on 01834 860464.
