If you’re looking for great activities for your family to enjoy during February half-term, then why not come along to one of the six Family First fun sessions being held across Pembrokeshire?

The free events will take place at parks, community halls and play areas in Fishguard, Goodwick, Narberth, Hubberston, Pembroke and Merlins Bridge.

Children and young people can enjoy fun sporting activities, science experiments, an inflatable laser zone, painting and crafts, sensory play, music, and more.

Organisations attending include the Darwin Centre, Sport Pembrokeshire, Purple Routes, Sportzkidz Ltd, and others. There will also be free refreshments.

Families First is run by Pembrokeshire County Council and funded by the Welsh Government.

The programme provides different types of support to families, children and young people aged up to 25 in Pembrokeshire, depending on what their needs are. They do this through commissioned projects, activities and training from Pembrokeshire County Council, charities and other organisations.

The Families First fun events will be held as follows:

Tuesday, February 20, 10 am - 12 pm Lota Park, Fishguard; 2-4 pm Community green, Stop and Call, Goodwick.

Wednesday, February 21, 10 am - 2 pm Town Moor play park/1st Narberth Scouting Headquarters.

Thursday, February 22, 10 am - 12 pm Hubberston Recreation Area, Haven Drive, Milford Haven; 2 - 4 pm The Green play area, Golden Hill Road, Pembroke.

Friday, February 23, 12 - 4 pm Merlins Bridge Community Hall and play park, Haverfordwest.
