On Saturday, 'coffee' was the watchword - over 100 people went to the coffee morning organised by the Friends of Tenby Museum and Art Gallery held in Church House. 

As well as enjoying a chat with friends over coffee and biscuits, visitors also had a chance to buy freshly made cakes. 

The book sale, which is a new part of this coffee morning, was very popular. Cookery, crime, gardening and romance were all available, as well as a small range of CDs and DVDs.  

Raffle tickets sold well and there were some very good prizes distributed. 

The Friends were delighted to raise over £180, all of which goes to support the local Museum and Art Gallery.    

Many thanks to all who supported the day and particularly to those who contributed books and raffle prizes, especially Ivy and Mike from Carmarthen, Cynthia in Saundersfoot and John Thomas in Tenby.

The next event to raise funds for the museum is on October 22 when the Friends are holding a quiz night at the Tenby Bowling Club.
