Members and friends of Tenby Museum enjoyed a special evening last week when Laurie Dale threw off the shackles of modern life and became, once again, Augustus John.

He kept a large audience thoroughly entertained with his one-man show.

There was one lady in the audience who was actually present when Augustus John was given the Freedom of the Borough and she told the chairman that Laurie was a much smarter dressed man than Augustus had been on that occasion.

Many of the audience were warm in their appreciation of the talent and effort which went into the production.

Thanks go to Laurie for his memorable performance and also to John Beynon, who was the 'behind the scenes' production manager.

The Friends next 'production' is a Quiz Evening at Tenby Bowling Club on Thursday, October 22.
