Children in Pembrokeshire are set to enjoy free swimming sessions over the Easter holiday.

Pembrokeshire County Council, together with the Welsh Assembly, is offering free swimming at all pools in the county.

It will be available for children under the age of 17 from tomorrow (Saturday) to Sunday April 18, during all advertised public sessions.

A number of non-swimming activities will also be offered at selected centres. Members of the public are advised to check with their local pool for details.

The initiative comes after the success of a Pembrokeshire County Council and Welsh Assembly free swimming scheme for schoolchildren last summer.
