Friends from all over Spain and the United Kingdom travelled to Gibraltar recently for the wedding of former Pembrokeshire couple, Simon Williams and Dawn Whitehead.

A former partner in the family business at Lodge Farm, New Hedges, and a well-known local horseman and Hunt supporter, the groom is the only son of Sonja and Gwyn Williams, of Lodge Farm, while the bride is the eldest daughter of Maureen and the late Raymond Whitehead, of The Wirral, Merseyside.

Given away by a family friend, the bride looked radiant in an ivory two-piece suit with lace bodice by the Spanish designer Rafael. The best man was Mr. Kevin Brown, of Cardiff.

After the wedding ceremony, the couple enjoyed a beachside lunch in Marbella, with an evening party at the town's luxury marina, Puerto Banus.

Following a brief honeymoon, the couple will continue to live on the Costa del Sol, where they have run a successful sea-front business for the past five years.
